“We own a Victorian home with its restoring challenges. One of the biggest was the two large chimneys, a wall where a fire escape had been removed leaving unsightly holes and a badly weathered corner window. After two years of searching for someone to take on the project at a reasonable cost we met Sam of Maritimes Masonry. Sam completed the work within the budget and time frame promised. He is a highly skilled mason who has obvious pride in his work. Our job was very challenging and done to perfection.”

“Where do I start, Sam from Maritimes Masonry Co. is as professional as they come. His work ethic is unmatched and is incredibly talented. He is fair and works extremely hard. Sam has completed two major restoration projects and a commercial project for the Region of Waterloo, both were completed on time and under budget. I will be using Maritimes Masonry Co. again without a doubt!”

About Us
At Ares Masonry we have over 20 years of experience and offer the highest quality of work in all types of new masonry construction in residential and commercial, all types of repairs including chimney, repointing, concrete, tiles and more.
With over two decades of experience in the masonry industry, I have honed my skills in various settings and locations. I spent the initial 15 years of my career working alongside my father in New Brunswick, where we specialized in a wide array of masonry repairs including chimneys, bricks, stones, concrete blocks, foundations, tiles, and heritage structures. During this period, I also pursued masonry courses in college and completed various safety training programs.
For the subsequent seven years, I was a member of the bricklayer’s union focusing on commercial projects. My portfolio includes large-scale endeavors such as schools, nursing homes, and fire stations. My work experience spans multiple provinces including New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Ontario.
In 2023, I founded Maritimes Masonry Co. with my fiancé while living in Ontario. We have decided to move to New Brunswick in 2024 and I now run our business as Ares Masonry. We offer a comprehensive range of masonry services, encompassing both small commercial and residential projects as well as repairs.
